This year’s theme is …. ‘Faeirie Tale’
Revel in this rare, art-immersive realm of ethereal creatures and mythical beasties, mischievous faeries and garrulous genies, coming together to perform and play amidst the grounds and the sounds of the Faerie Tale palace of Alcazar.
Our spectacular, large-scale, outdoor main stage architecture will be graced by music from two international headliners and a firmament of local stars…and as always, Bazique Festival’s La Fee Verte Ballroom and Wolfkop Weekender’s booming Den will offer two indoor dancefloors to complete this delightful reality bubble… right in the heart of the city!
Our elaborate setup will be at 115 Hatfield St, Gardens, at Cape Town High School. Come and dance all day and night at the foot of Table Mountain in a secure and wind-protected venue!
Each year, Alcazar draws inspiration from one of the great palaces of the world to create an astonishing 3 story high art piece, combining amazing stage architecture, 3D projection mapping and a whirl of dancers, gymnasts and performance artists to create a unique, large scale piece of living art!
